112/08/09 Hands-on Web Coding Made Easy – Advanced Course
We were honored to have Professor Sun Ming-Yuan, Creative Director of Ming Design Studio, lead the Hands-on Web Coding Made Easy – Advanced Course. This session continued from the previous basic course, connecting foundational knowledge to deepen participants’ understanding of web coding. Today’s class focused on front-end development, introducing concepts such as CSS, visual styles, box model, layout styles, and responsive web design (RWD). The course used Notepad++ for hands-on practice, helping faculty, staff, and students integrate knowledge from both the basic and advanced courses.
Building on the knowledge gained in the basic course, the advanced course used pre-made web code templates for instruction. The participants included website administrators of all units as well as faculty, staff, and students. The session began with hands-on exercises on headings, colors, selectors, attributes, and parameters, led by Professor Sun Ming-Yuan.
