112/06/01 Web Page Layout Design, Marketing, and Analysis Training – Principles of Interface Design

We were honored to have Professor Sun Ming-Yuan from Ming Design Studio lead the Web Page Layout Design, Marketing, and Analysis Training – Principles of Interface Design (Advanced Course). This session continued from the previous basic course on interface design concepts, connecting foundational knowledge to deepen participants’ understanding of web page layout interface design. Today’s session covered interface and graphic design, the seven key principles, and criteria for evaluating a good website interface, helping faculty, staff, and students gain more insight into interface design principles and how to assess effective websites.

Building on the basic course knowledge, the advanced course focused on interface principles. Participants included website administrators of all units as well as faculty, staff, and students. Professor Sun Ming-Yuan emphasized starting with simple principles, noting that anything the eye sees is related to the interface.
