Recently, Fortinet disclosed a critical vulnerability in the FortiSwitch GUI (CVE-2024-48887, CVSS: 9.8) and released a corresponding fix. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to change administrator passwords by sending specially crafted requests.
