We were honored to invite Ricky Yen (顏毓賢), Marketing Director of the Marketing Planning Department at Fenghe Creative Co., Ltd., to lead the workshop “Integrated Social Media Marketing for Student Recruitment | Beginner Self-Media Strategy & Management: Increasing Followers and Reach Training.” The course provided an in-depth exploration of comprehensive social media marketing strategies, using concrete examples to illustrate the “point, line, and plane” layout approach in self-media management, combined with hands-on exercises to allow participants to immediately apply what they learned.

The course began with the question, “How should marketing be done in the 21st century?” highlighting the importance of gaining the trust and attention of every potential customer—students, parents, and corporations—in today’s fast-paced social media and information environment. Participants learned how to effectively drive traffic through self-media platforms: for example, directing users from LINE, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, and other platforms to the main university website. This multi-platform integration helps consolidate traffic and achieve final Call to Action (CTA) goals, such as registration, inquiries, likes, shares, turning on notifications, adding LINE friends, or submitting contact information.

Ricky Yen further explained that self-media management should be structured in three layers: point, line, and plane, providing a clear framework for strategic content planning and audience engagement.
