Recently, during the analysis of access logs, Openfind Email Threat Laboratory discovered that the third-party tool used in the MailGates / MailAudit systems contains a security vulnerability. It has been confirmed that attackers have successfully launched XSS cross-site scripting attacks, which may lead to user data leakage and unauthorized file system access.

Openfind has updated the affected third-party module version and released a security patch. Users are advised to complete the update as soon as possible.
