The 2026 Campus Website and Social Media Competition:8/6 (Thu.) – 8/7 (Fri.) Website Presentation and Review Meetings

1. Meeting Dates: 2026/8/6 (Thu) morning and afternoon - 2026/8/7 (Fri) morning

2. Venue: Computer Classroom, 1st Floor, Library and Information Services Building

3. Meeting Notes:

  1. The 20 participating websites are divided into three sessions. Each unit must appoint someone to attend and give the presentation; absence without good reason is treated as withdrawal from the competition.
  2. Each website has a total of 10 minutes. In the first 5 minutes, the unit gives its presentation at the lectern computer in the "Computer Classroom, 1st Floor, Library and Information Services Building" by opening its website and using the "F12" function. A reminder is given at 4 minutes and a bell sounds at 5 minutes. In the following 5 minutes, the judges will ask questions about the website and offer comments.
  3. After your presentation and the judges' questions, please leave during that session's break where possible. If you leave the classroom immediately after presenting, please avoid disturbing the next unit's presentation. However, you must attend the judges' summing-up on 8/7.

4. Judges: Three in total.

5. Evaluation Criteria: The website presentation and review meetings on 8/6-8/7 account for 60% and the website inspection after the review meetings on 8/24-9/4 for 40%, totaling 100%. The Social Media Bonus Item Review on 8/24-9/4, newly added this year, accounts for a further 10%, giving a total of 110%.

Richness of Chinese website content 25% The main consideration is the website information needed by faculty, staff, students, alumni and visitors.
Richness of English website content 25% The main consideration is the website information needed by international faculty, staff and students.
Mobile device friendliness 10% Visual design, ease of browsing, display of tables, page loading speed, and so on.
