明志自1963年因王創辦人的高瞻遠矚，而成為了國內第一所以培養工業中間幹部為目標的專科學校，其中能將理論實踐於工作的工讀制度更是一大特色。勤勞樸實的校訓，使得明志的學生無論是在學校或是社會上皆能有亮眼的表現以致榮譽戰績多不勝數。

Dear all,

Founded in 1963 by the visionary Mr. Y. C. Wang Institute became the first specialized college in the country dedicated to cultivating mid-level industrial executives. Its distinctive work-study program, integrating theory into practice, stands as a significant feature. The school’s motto of "Diligence, Perseverance, Frugality and Trustworthiness" has empowered Ming Chi students to shine, both within the institution and in society, amassing numerous honors and achievements.

The purpose of the "School History Guided Tour" is to offer a shortcut for understanding Ming Chi, enabling a deeper appreciation of its history, fostering the perpetual continuation of its admirable traditions.
