Q1：怎樣算明志IP？

A1：

1. 在宿舍用電腦連有線網路、在辦公室用電腦連有線網路，預設都是明志IP。
2. 用手機連明志Wi-Fi，SSID選「MCUT 802.1X」並登入校園入口網帳號密碼。Wi-Fi說明[LINK]。
3. 若抓不到明志Wi-Fi，或人在校外，請改連明志VPN，請依VPN說明[LINK]安裝Cisco的APP並登入校園入口網帳號密碼。

Q2：我在校內連有線網路，但無法正常使用資料庫

A2：可能的原因包含

1. 電腦連校外VPN導致IP變成不是明志IP
2. 資料庫廠商設定的明志IP範圍跑掉
3. 其他。若連線有狀況，歡迎洽詢圖書館

Q3：下學期會辦教育訓練嗎？
A3：預定3月舉辦Endnote與Turnitin教育訓練，時間確認後將發報名表。

Q1: How to check MCUT IP?

A1:

1. Use wired internet in the dormitory or office; the default is MCUT IP.
2. Connect to MCUT Wi-Fi on your phone, select "MCUT 802.1X," and log in with campus portal account. Wi-Fi instructions [LINK].
3. If MCUT Wi-Fi is unavailable or outside campus, use MCUT VPN. Install Cisco's app and log in with campus portal account; VPN instructions [LINK].

Q2: I am connected to the campus wired network but cannot access the databases properly.

A2: Possible reasons include:

1.         Computer connected to external VPN causing IP change.

2.         Database vendor's MCUT IP range misconfiguration.

3.         Others. For connection issues, feel free to contact the library.

Q3: Will there be education and training next semester?

A3: Turnitin training are scheduled for March. Registration forms will be distributed after confirming the schedule.
