FAQ:
Q1: How to check MCUT IP?
A1:
- Use wired internet in the dormitory or office; the default is MCUT IP.
- Connect to MCUT Wi-Fi on your phone, select "MCUT 802.1X," and log in with campus portal account. Wi-Fi instructions [LINK].
- If MCUT Wi-Fi is unavailable or outside campus, use MCUT VPN. Install Cisco's app and log in with campus portal account; VPN instructions [LINK].
Q2: I am connected to the campus wired network but cannot access the databases properly.
A2: Possible reasons include:
1. Computer connected to external VPN causing IP change.
2. Database vendor's MCUT IP range misconfiguration.
3. Others. For connection issues, feel free to contact the library.
Q3: Will there be education and training next semester?
A3: Turnitin training are scheduled for March. Registration forms will be distributed after confirming the schedule.
