112/08/02 Hands-on Web Coding Made Easy – Basic Course

We were honored to have Professor Sun Ming-Yuan, Creative Director of Ming Design Studio, lead the course on Hands-on Web Coding Made Easy – Basic Course. Today’s session focused on front-end web development, introducing participants to front-end technologies, coding tools, the basic structure of HTML, usage of tags and attributes. The course used Notepad++ for hands-on practice, combined with image library resources, allowing faculty, staff, and students to gain a solid understanding of web coding and to learn from the basics.

The course began with a personal data protection briefing conducted by the Office of Library and Information Services. Website administrators were informed about handling personal data collected and used by the university, relevant regulations, and best practices for data security. Key principles included secure data storage, retention periods, and data minimization to reduce the risk of data leaks.
