Title: Advanced Mobile Short-Form Video AI Creation Training

We were honored to invite 漂漂老師蔡雅琦, Head of Visual Design at Fan Ying Media, to lead the “Advanced Mobile Short-Form Video AI Creation Training” as a continuation of the foundational course. The training explored advanced features and applications of mobile short-form video AI creation, including AI video editing exercises, group video interview practice, and sharing and discussion of advanced video projects. The course aimed to enhance the practical skills of faculty, staff, and students in creating high-quality short-form videos for campus social media and departmental projects.

Participants included social media managers from various departments, as well as faculty, staff, and students. Building on foundational concepts, the advanced course allowed participants to quickly engage in practical mobile video creation. Teacher Cai emphasized key principles for short-form videos: pose a problem, create memorable visuals, and communicate the video’s main point directly. She also stressed that the first 15 seconds of a video are critical for capturing viewer attention.

The course also introduced the use of AIGC (AI Generated Content), including AI-generated images, music, and responses. With AI tools, participants can virtualize tasks that were previously conducted physically, such as group discussions (identifying problems), brainstorming (creativity, titles), and refining content (target audience and material).
