Instructions for Thesis Submission for the Second Semester of the 111 Academic Year

Dear PhD and Master's students,

To help our graduate students understand the format specifications for writing a thesis, the thesis review process, electronic file data creation, electronic submission of the full text and authorization form, and the procedures for submitting the thesis to the library upon graduation, the library will hold a Thesis/Dissertation submission briefing session (in English) on June 9th. We kindly request that all graduating students this semester register to attend.

Q1: What is considered "graduating this semester"?
A1: To graduate this semester, students must complete the oral defense before July 31, 2023, meet the graduation requirements (English proficiency, credit requirements, etc.), not be required to graduate in the next academic year due to studying abroad, and complete the procedures for leaving the school in accordance with the "Ming Chi University of Technology 111.2 School Leaving Procedure".

Q2: Is there a handout?
A2: The handout for this session is still being prepared.

Q3: Do I need to attend if I'm not graduating this semester?
A3: No.

Q4: Will the presentation be in English?
A4: Yes.

Q5: Will there be a thesis submission briefing in the 112 academic year?
A5: Yes. Briefings will be held in both the first and second semesters, tentatively scheduled for December 2023 and June 2024, respectively.
