[Journal Rankings] JCR 2026 Release & Online Briefing
Dear faculty and students,
Clarivate has released the 2026 edition of the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) on June 17, 2026. A webinar in Chinese will be held on July 1, offering insights into the updated metrics and policy changes. All are welcome to attend!
🔍 Highlights of JCR 2026:
- Covers 22,643 journals across 254 subject categories
- Includes 6,703 open access journals
- Includes academic journals from 113 countries and regions (including 15,023 journals in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), 7,721 journals in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and 3,460 journals in the Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI))
- 521 journals received a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for the first time
