Library:Group Viewing Rooms

  • Service Targets: Current students, faculty, and staff.
  • Location: Audiovisual Center on the 8th floor of the library, comprising 4 rooms.
  • Opening Hours: Same as the Audiovisual Center.
  • Capacity: 3 small group viewing rooms, each accommodating 3-7 people; 1 large group viewing room accommodating 46 people, available for use by various university units and classes.
  • Facilities: Small group viewing rooms equipped with DVD players, TV/projectors, and karaoke equipment; the large group viewing room is equipped with a computer, projector, and karaoke equipment.
  • Booking Procedure: Please reserve/borrow the group viewing rooms via the "Equipment Borrowing System." For videos, please borrow them from the counter on the 4th floor of the library.
  • Notes:This area is a public space; please do not bring personal audiovisual materials for playback.

  • Advance Reservation: Reservations open 10 days before the date of use.
  • Borrowing Procedure: Present identification (student ID, staff ID, passport, driver's license, national health insurance card, Mingzhi Sports Club membership card) at the circulation counter to borrow and receive devices such as remote controls.
  • Minimum Occupancy for Large Group Viewing Room: Borrowing is allowed for groups of 15 people or more. If the minimum occupancy requirement is not met, the library reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
  • Minimum Occupancy for Small Group Viewing Rooms: Borrowing is allowed for groups of 3 people or more. If the minimum occupancy requirement is not met, the library reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
  • Late Arrival Policy: If the borrower does not arrive at the designated time and fails to borrow the room within 30 minutes, the reservation for that time slot will be canceled.
  • Karaoke Equipment Service Hours: Monday to Friday, 6-8 PM; Saturday, 9 AM-12 PM. Karaoke services are suspended during exam weeks and the week prior, with announcements made for any additional suspensions.
